Spring Highlights from the UUC Board of Trustees

1) The Board agreed to send two Business Delegates, Elizabeth Jenkins-Sahlin and Shelby Juarez, to represent UUC at the UUA General Assembly and approved $150 for each delegate to defray the cost of registration as recommended by the UUA. Anyone is welcome to attend all or parts of the General Assembly, either in person in Baltimore or virtually, but at their own expense.

2) The need for a Fund Raising Committee was discussed and the creation of such approved. Craig, Carolyn and Sarah will start the process as soon as possible and provide updates at the next meeting.

3) Following a discussion regarding the confidentiality of pledges the Board approved a motion to document in the policy manual that congregants’ pledges are confidential. Pledges are only to be shared with the Treasurer and Assistant Treasurer. Electronic information related to pledges will be password protected, paper will be kept under lock and key.
