Message from the Community Welcome Team

Last September the Community Connections team held a “Radical Welcome” workshop for anyone interested in being a greeter on Sunday mornings. Veteran welcomers shared their experiences and a number of new people expressed interest in sharing this responsibility. We’d like to take a moment to recognize the contributions of all those who stepped forward and engaged in extending a “radical welcome” throughout the first half of the congregational year.

THANK YOU

Welcome Team Meeting January 25th at 11:30 AM
Current team members, along with anyone who has considered being a welcomer and would like to learn more, please join us for a brief 45 min session where we’ll discuss best practices, review expectations of the role, and sign up for upcoming Sundays. Being a welcomer is a great way to contribute to our congregation. It is a “high return on investment” activity with a relatively low time commitment that affords you a wonderful chance to engage newcomers, friends and congregants alike. Please join us! Thanks in advance for your participation.
