Religious Exploration Beginnings 2026-2027

Our Religious exploration classes this year will be sharing the Soul Matters themes with worship services. We hope to create continuity sharing these universal themes throughout the congregational year.

Here are the themes:

Each Sunday morning class uses the same components to experience the theme in a dynamic way:

● Light It! – Chalice Lighting
The chalice lighting is centered in our UU core value of love, lifts up the monthly
themes, and taps into the power and fun of body movements.
● Tell It! – Stories to Inspire Us
Stories are a wonderful way to make our monthly themes come alive. Each week we feature wisdom tales to build the lesson around.
● Engage It! – Hands-On Activities, Crafts & Games for Experiential Learning
We always offer a craft, activities or movement to make our theme come alive.
● Justice Making Activity
We conduct our own food drive throughout the year to benefit SNUI and support immigrant families.

Many Blessings,
