Fall is really, finally here! We hope you’ve been able to admire the changing leaves and spend some time enjoying sunny days and cooler weather as we approach Daylight Savings and the darker months.
We had a lot of productive discussion about the various projects, updates, and reports from committees at this past Monday’s (10/19) Board meeting which was held on Zoom. No e-votes between sessions occurred or in-person votes happened though. As usual, meeting minutes will be shared in the community room for 10/25, as well as digitally accessed here.
I wanted to take a moment to announce our Bylaws Review Taskforce members – Thank you to Joshua, Maria, Mike, Nora, and Rajesh! I’m looking forward to working together on this project, and UUC Members can expect an email with more concrete details in the coming weeks.
The Board also wants to commend everyone who has been stepping up in the last few months to keep things moving as smoothly as possible while we are without a minister, and we are really proud of how resilient we are as a congregation. Thank you for your time, your ideas, and your passion!
Members of the Board will be available for our First Sunday Q&A on 11/1 before the service at 9:30am. Our next meeting will be in the Sanctuary on 11/16 at 7pm. We will try and have the Zoom meeting up and running again for people to be able to listen in if they are unable to attend in person.
