Dear Ones,
My heart is full of gratitude. Thank you all for the gifts of our celebration this past Sunday- your presence, your messages, and all of the tangible tokens of love and appreciation I am carrying with me. It is hard to say goodbye. I will be present at UUC just a few more times this month. On Monday, July 20th I will join the Moral Monday gathering at the Courthouse at 12:30 and invite you to join me for this witness. Otherwise, I will be cleaning out my office on Monday, July 20th and Thursday, July 30th, with study leave time in between. You are welcome to stop by those afternoons (especially if you are able to help lift boxes!).
I have been working with staff, UUC committees and board on transition plans for the gap time between ministers. My UU and interfaith colleagues have graciously offered their support. I am available through July 31st for pastoral support and emergencies. If you would like to meet in person, please set up an appointment via my calendly. If you would like to speak by phone or Zoom on another day, you can contact me directly to find a time at minister@uucstamford.org.
I will offer one final message here in this newsletter before my time as your UUC Minister completes on July 31st. In this time of change and transition, may we cherish the gifts of our time together these past five years, while we also make space for the new beginning that is yet to come.
