There is so much to be grateful for this month! If you are wondering what UUC is grateful for check out the gratitude pumpkins on our front steps. I am grateful for this community: for the beautiful singing of our new choir and all those who lead us in worship, for our children and youth’s curiosity and dedication to justice- and for the teachers and advisors who lead them, for the community partnerships we are building beyond our walls (such as the 7K recently raised for immigrant families via our Jazz for Justice concert!), for those making soup and caring for one another, for those who lead times of spiritual centering and community connection, for our Board’s leadership in looking to the congregation’s future with open and respectful dialogue, and for all the people working to support the maintenance and beautification of our building and grounds. Thank you all for all you do, and all you bring, and all you are!
I will be taking some time off until the end of December…but I hope to see you at the Interfaith Thanksgiving Celebration at Stamford Church of Christ on November 23rd! I invite everyone to join me Monday, December 1st at Moral Mondays 12-1 PM at the courthouse and the evening Worship Reflection Circle from 6-7:15 PM in our Sanctuary. If you would like to meet in person on 12/1 or 12/2, please schedule an appointment with me in advance via my calendly. I can meet by phone or Zoom on other calendered days.
