This past Sunday we introduced our program Holidays & Holydays to our Sunday morning class. We entered our giving space of Club Kindness by sharing the foods we brought in to donate. We explored the world religions with the video If the Whole World was a Village and celebrated diversity. This coming Sunday we will learn about and celebrate the Jewish New Year. Our Sunday class will be holding a year long food drive as part of class. Club Kindness is designed to teach the children how to run a campaign of kindness by holding a food drive to benefit immigrant families.

The Social Action Youth Group at UUC is organizing a Stuff a Trunk event to support families and children of those detained by ICE. Participants will stuff their trunks with nonperishable food items and toiletries. A complete list will be shared soon. The date of the event is on Saturday, October 25th at 3 pm.
