The 2025 year is drawing to a close, and the Board had our December meeting over Zoom on 12/15 this month. The minutes from our meeting will be shared on the board in the community room on 12/21, and please reach out to us if you have any comments, questions, or concerns about them or anything else on your mind regarding UUC.
We’re looking forward to having two of our pre-service Q&A’s on 12/28 and 1/4 for those who would like to stop by and chat face to face starting at 9:30am.
We’ve got many projects in the works I look forward to sharing progress about in the coming months, especially WiFi in the Sanctuary, but nothing that required e-voting between last month and this month. During our meeting we discussed and voted to approve soliciting proposals and subsequently entering a contract for ongoing Pest Management services.
The need for volunteers to help assist with childcare remains, and those interested who have a background check completed within the last 3-5 years are able to reach out to the Board or Rev. Terri and sign-up for a Sunday to help! Anyone who is interested but doesn’t have that check completed can acquire one by following the instructions on the interest sheet in the Community Room.
We also wanted to thank the Fundraising Committee for the work they and members and friends of our congregation put in to make the Cocoa Caper a success!
Our next meeting will be in-person on 1/19 at 7pm in the Sanctuary. Pending WiFi capabilities, we will try and have Zoom available for folks to listen, and congregants are welcome to come and observe in person with us as well.
