Sunday, February 19th, 11:30 AM – Plan Ahead with Expert Guidance: “The Ten Commandments of Wills and Trusts” – The Lay Pastoral Care Team invites you to join us for an informative session on Wills and Trusts, led by local attorney Sherman Turner. (Don’t worry. This is a secular event!) If you have a will or trust that you haven’t looked at in years, or if the topic is one you have avoided altogether, this is the place to be. Maybe you are caring for an aging parent or your life circumstances have changed. Or perhaps you have been thinking about setting up a trust but don’t know whether it’s necessary. Whether you are a young adult, retiree, or somewhere in between, this small investment of time can help you refine existing plans, or jumpstart the process. The format will be a 30 minute presentation followed by ample time for questions. Please gather at 11:30 on February 19th in the Sanctuary, for what could be the first in a series of workshops designed to help you address subjects like estate planning, financial planning, elder care, and more.
