Our congregation is vocal about finding more resources for homeless persons. In coming days, the state legislature’s Appropriations Committee will decide if it will fund HR 6554, putting $50 million into the budget for Homeless Response Organizations. Several Stamford state legislators, Representative Corey Paris, Representative Hubert Delany and Representative Rachel Khanna are on the Appropriations Committee.
