Jeanne will serve UUC as the quarter time DRE, providing leadership and support to our teachers and families, and working in partnership with our Religious Education Ministry Team and Ministry to create a thriving RE program for our children and youth. Jeanne Nametz has served as a UU Director of Religious Education for four congregations in the NY metropolitan area. She currently serves quarter time at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Northern Westchester and will be joining us to serve quarter time in her role as Director of Religious Exploration. Jeanne brings great skill and passion to her work as a religious educator and holds a Master in Religious Education from Fordham University. Jeanne says, “I so look forward to meeting families, RE volunteers and congregants as we create a road map for religious exploration.” In addition to serving as a UU religious educator, Jeanne is a singer/songwriter of Irish music and performs Sean Nos – an ancient form of Irish music.
