Ministry Teams
UUC Stamford has a “shared ministry”. That means that we consider “ministry” the responsibility of our whole community, not just our ordained minister. In the Unitarian Universalist tradition, shared ministry is about collaborative leadership, mutual care, and spiritual partnership between professional leaders, laypeople, staff, and the wider congregation.
At UUC Stamford we do the work of the congregation through Ministry Teams and Committees. Additionally, we offer a number of program groups, some of which are “homegrown” and others developed by the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) on a global platform.
